What is Lineage?
The lineage of the Modern Mystery School (MMS) dates back to the times of King Salomon and has therefore, over 3,000 years of history and lineage. While the mystery school tradition is much older than that, the lineage of the MMS and its teachings can be verified and traced back to the teachings of King Salomon himself.
All lineages have main key holders, individuals who hold and anchor the lineage on the planet and hold the authority to keep the door of the mystery school open to those who seek the Light. In this lineage, the main key holders are titled the Third Order and in union, they administer and attend to maintaining the purity of the lineage and its teachings.

Modern Mystery School
The Modern Mystery School is an international community dedicated to the empowerment of individuals and the realization of world peace through personal transformation. Holding the energetic keys of the Lineage of King Salomon, the school preserves and shares a body of teachings that have been transmitted through an unbroken oral tradition for over 3,000 years.
In 1997, Founder Gudni Gudnason opened the doors of the Modern Mystery School to the public, making these ancient teachings accessible to modern seekers around the world. Today, the school operates in more than 50 countries, with international headquarters in Toronto and Tokyo.
The Modern Mystery School offers a path of initiation that encourages individuals to live from the wisdom of the heart, embrace greater responsibility for their lives, and continually strive toward their highest potential. Through practical spiritual tools, sacred teachings, and direct experience, students learn to create positive change within themselves and become a greater force for Light in the world.

The Council of 12
In 2017, when the Third Order was initiated, the Council of 12 was also activated. The Council of 12 is a group of 12 women, high-level initiates from all over the world who serve as leadership for the Modern Mystery School.
The Council of 12 work directly with the Third Order to execute the directives of the Hierarchy of Light for service to humanity on this earth. The 12 women provide council, confirmation and conference to the members of the Third Order about the various projects and missions of the MMS.
The women who occupy the seats of the Council of 12 rotate through their roles as is needed so you will see some of these women shift and change year-to-year. The installation in 2017 has allowed for the Goddess power and connection with the Shekinah to be anchored through these structures of the Third Order. This manifests as the implementation of the various levels of operation required for the running of the Modern Mystery School.
